OOSC (Gr 1-6), Kinder Program, and Preschool Program

Payment Information
​​We’re excited to welcome your family to our academy! To ensure a smooth experience, here’s what you need to know about fees:

A $45 non-refundable administrative fee is required per family at the time of registration. This is a one-time fee unless a family leaves and later re-enrolls.

Monthly fees are due on the 1st of each month (or the previous business day) and can be paid via automatic deposit or credit card.

Since each child holds a limited spot in our program, fees remain the same regardless of attendance, and we’re unable to offer prorated rates or credits for missed days.

Program Rates & Information
​At Spanish Creations Academy, we offer flexible programs designed to support your child’s learning and development. Our schedules run Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM, with options for full-time, part-time, and drop-in care.
Out-of-School Program (Grades 1-6)

Full-Time: $570/month – Includes one PD day per month, teacher conventions, acting & dance classes.

Spring & Fall Breaks: Additional $36/day.

Transportation (School Pick-up): $100/month (Available for St. Margaret, St. Luke, Collingwood, and Glenmeadows schools).

PD Day Drop-In: $65/day.
Kinder Program

Full-Time (100+ hours/month): $326.25/month – Includes PD days, teacher conventions, acting & dance classes, Spring & Fall Breaks.

Additional $15-$30 per day for special activities/events during breaks.

School pick-up included (St. Margaret, St. Luke, Collingwood, Glenmeadows).

Part-Time (50-100 hours/month): $230/month – PD days, teacher conventions, and Spring & Fall breaks are an additional $36/day.
Preschool Program

Two days per week: $100/month.

Three days per week: $200/month.

Additional Services

Morning School Transportation: $100/month (St. Margaret, St. Luke, Collingwood, Glenmeadows).

Flexible Scheduling: We accommodate drop-ins and part-time schedules based on availability.

Discounts for siblings: we offer 10% discount for the second child and subsequent siblings (all programs, except kindergarten program)
Billing & Payment Policies
At Spanish Creations Academy, we strive to support families with flexible payment options while ensuring smooth program operations. Below are our policies regarding late fees, overdue payments, and subsidies.
Late Pick-Up Fees

A $1 per minute late fee applies for children picked up after 6:30 PM to cover staff overtime.

Exceptions may be considered in emergency situations.

Late fees will be added to the next month’s billing after a Late Fee Notice is sent via email.
Overdue Payments & Enrollment Policies
We are committed to working with families and will always attempt to arrange alternative payment solutions before applying the following policies:

Payments made 15 days past the due date will be charged a late fee.

Fees overdue for more than 30 days may result in suspension of enrollment until the balance is paid in full.
Child Care Subsidy (Grades 1-6)
Families may apply for the Alberta Family and Social Services Child Care Subsidy at www.child.gov.ab.ca. Once approved:

A Subsidy Approval Letter must be emailed to billing@spanishcreations.ca as soon as received. We do not receive this information directly from the government.

If subsidy approval is not received before the first billing date, full fees will be charged for the first month. Any applicable subsidy credits will be applied once received.

Parents are responsible for ensuring their child meets the minimum required hours for subsidy eligibility, as requirements may vary by family.
